Physical Activities

It is important to stay active whilst you are at home. Physical activity is great for your body and also for your mental wellbeing. This page will share ideas to help keep you moving - which activities will you try?

The Daily Mile At Home

Can you take on the Daily Mile At Home challenges? It would be great to see what you have completed; you can send a photo to your class using the contact us section on your class page. Each week we will add a new set of challenges to help keep you active.

Mencap Virtual Challenge Week


Starting on Monday 25th January 2021 Mencap have teamed up with Special Olympics Great Britain to bring you a FREE Virtual Challenge Week. Students can complete challenges to earn points for their team - lots of classes have registered as a team so look out for any specific information from your class team. Each day there is a challenge to complete with a different skills focus. On Monday the focus will be movement; Tuesday is throwing; Wednesday is hitting and Thursday is kicking. There are variations of the challenge each day so there should be something for all abilities. On Friday there will be a showcase and rewards session. All you need to do is let us know what your score is each day so that we can update our team sheets.
