Hoy Class

Welcome to Hoy!

Hoy Class Team (2021/2022)

Lizzie Kayleigh

Our class is made up of 6 year 7 students and is a new class at St Andrew's! In Hoy class we work on getting to know each other and the school as well as learning how to express ourselves in different ways. As our class is made up of new students we spend time on 'what it means to start secondary school' and how this is different to primary education. Moving from primary school is no easy task, students find out they have to do a lot more for themselves and are encouraged and supported to be more independent in all aspect of school life.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our new students and their families to Hoy Class. We look forward to working with you this year!

Things to note:

Please check the website regularly for class updates and news

P.E day is Friday; please ensure your young person has a P.E kit in school

Please supply students with a healthy snack each day e.g. cereal bar, fruit, yogurt. DO NOT send anything containing nuts

We recommend sending your young person in with a sports bottle for a drink of water throughout the day

Please ensure students do not come into school with toys from home, we would hate for them to get lost or damaged.
