Oak National Academy Virtual LibraryEach week a children's/young person's author speaks about themselves and their books as well as allowing a virtual read of one of there books. This resource can be accessed by all students, either reading it themselves or listening to an adult reading to them.
Read Write Inc phonics daily lessons and parent information Read Write Inc are providing daily phonics lessons on their youtube channel. Videos are available to 24hrs before the next one is posted. The schedule for which sound is being taught can be found o their website. Each day there is a set 1, 2 and 3 lesson. If you're unsure of which set your young person should be accessing please speak to their teacher. Minimal resources needed for lessons: just pen and paper. RWI is the reading scheme some of our students will be accessing come September. There's some good videos on info for parents too!

Includes mini games and adventures to help develop speed and accuracy, blending and segmenting and reading for a purpose. The site also offers an App to use on tablets and phones however this needs to be paid for.
